In the sleepy little town of Cherry Creek NY vandalism has tarnished the pristine Cockaigne Ski resort of Chautauqua County. Two no-good hooligans, Ryan Day, 19 and an unidentified 18 year old, recently came forward and admitted spraying graffiti and breaking windows in the lift shacks.

This comes after a fire in January destroyed the ski area’s lodge, which the two vandals used as part of an excuse for their actions. Investigators reported that the two youngsters thought the structures would be replaced after the fire. The local community sees this as a slap in the face, especially after many have rallied and made efforts to keep the ski area afloat after the fire.

The two boys are being charged with 4th degree vandalism and 2nd degree trespassing in the Cherry Creek Town Court.
