A few days back, Trevor Hall asked me if I wanted to go check out Tioga Pass and maybe make a little day edit, and of course I was down. I had experienced the area, the infamous Mobile station, the beauty of Mono Lake, the 3 or 4 dining options on the Lee Vining strip and the creepy streets of Bodie and the 395 in all its glory, never having skied there, it was high time to check it out.
So I threw my crap in his camper in less than 20 minutes and we were off. “Where should we even ski?” I asked. Neither of us had a clue and then came the question, where should we camp? Luckily, I knew a suitable place to park a truck and our friend John Parker gave us an idea of where to ride.
