Saturday, June 18th
Bromont opens for daily operations starting this Saturday.
Bromont, Quebec which is arguably some of the toughest lift served Mountain Biking near New England opens for daily operations this Saturday. If its good enough for Peatty is should be more than enough for most mere mortals. If you enjoy, tight ,rooty, rocky, and freaking steep Downhill trail get your passport out and head up to Canada. Bromont is about 2 hours north of Stowe and Burlington and with in striking distance of Boston for a weekend trip.

Alittle more local to the town of Stowe, Stowe the resort is opening up its summer attractions for the season starting this Saturday. The alpine slide, bungee trampoline, rock wall and Toll Road are open for the summer season. From brisk rides down the Alpine slide, to hiking the Chin from the top of the Toll Road there are now some summer recreational opportunities at the resort this weekend.
Sunday, June 19th
For the Xc racers among us, including me. The 4th NESC , The Pinnacle XII is taking place in Newport, Nh. With a 1 mile longs kids race, to 6 miles for the newbs, to a 24 miles Elite Men and Women’s Cash payout category. The trails are sure to challenge as much as your fellow competitors and I bet everyone is thrilled about the final decent which takes place on a nordic ski jump. Registration and Info.
Thursday, June 22nd
For some mid week fun with your little dirt shredders, Trapp Family Lodge will be hosting its “Kids bike for free” day. Anyone child age 17 and under bikes for free when accompanied by an paying adult. There will be skills clinics and guided tours lead by the Trapp Family Mountain bike staff.
