It’s kinda that awkward time after Memorial Day but before the summer season really picks up. It wants to be summer, and we all want it to be summer, but it’s not quite there yet. The good news- temps should be much more summerish than the past couple of weekends. The bad news- there’s not a whole lot going on in terms of nightlife. But, for the dedicated, a good time is out there. Plus, skiing off the tram is still pretty good.
Central- Friday, June 3
SHREDDING OFF THE TRAM- 9AM-5PM DAILY, $23
Riding is still awesome- just keep an eye on nighttime freezing temps. You can almost ride to the Union Pass road at the bottom of the Hobacks, although you have to get a little creative. The snow up high is all time, but get there early as it gets pretty slushy by late morning.
CHANMAN JAM BAND- FRIDAY 10PM, TOWN SQUARE TAVERN
A mix of reggae and rock, the Chanman Jam Band hits the TOWN SQUARE TAVERN tonight. If you’re looking for a party, this might be the only place tonight.
