The 22’ walled Super Pipe that Red Bull’s premiere athletes have been training on will be open to the public beginning tomorrow through May 8th. The pipe will be closed for maintenance each day between noon and 1pm. Which is pretty cool because that means they’ll be keeping it in tip top shape for us.
Squaw has not had a good half pipe in many many years, so this is huge. At least we’ll get to have a good half pipe for 8 days this year. Maybe we should let Squaw know that we should have a half pipe a couple more days than just 8 per year? I think so.
