Wanderlust is a one-of-a-kind festival bringing together the world’s best yoga and wellness teachers and top musical acts and DJs, all in a setting of breathtaking natural beauty. An event not to be missed, Squaw Valley will be hosting the festival for its third year this July 28-31.
Squaw’s largest event of the summer, it’s one of the few times you’ll find the village and parking lot packed and buzzing, with no snow on the mountain and the lifts sitting idle. One of the few chances we have to see big name acts in North Tahoe, last year I caught the music Friday night, and Pretty Lights absolutely killed it. This years lineup, featuring Michael Franti & Spearhead, Girl Talk, and The Wailers is sure to deliver as well.
Yoga Classes – The nation’s top yoga teachers and experts have been gathered to teach a full schedule of exciting classes and creative workshops around the clock at a choice selection of beautiful on-site venues. From classic presenters like John Friend, Seane Corn, and Shiva Rea, to exciting new faces like Maty Ezraty and Noah Maze, participants will experience the best that yoga has to offer.
Meditation & Lectures – For those interested in mental exploration, there will be a whole crew of the best wellness experts from around the globe poised to offer workshops, lectures, and demonstrations all weekend long.
Music – As the centerpiece of the Wanderlust music experience, the globetrotter stage will host the positive vibrations of Michael Franti and Spearhead, the electronic danceparty mashups of Girl Talk, the ecstatic chants of Jai Uttal, and much, much more. The Casbah stage, located in the Kula Village, will feature up and coming talent and special performances around the clock all weekend long as well.
