“You Can’t Stop Me Now”-RZA. Unstoppable is the vibe in Whistler as we all reminisce over the last three weeks of powder. Wednesday, the day Peak Chair opened, was a day for the record books. My day included waiting for the lift to open, a three hour wait, but well worth it to ski six feet of snow then “FUN-POW-TIME”
However the main reason as to why Wednesday was important is because of the Air Jordan (AJ) show, everyone and their grandmother was sending AJ. I watched countless “extreme, big-mountain, best skier on Whistler, super-rad, gotta show-off” skiers and snowboarders almost kill themselves on the not-so-massive double known as AJ. The crashes and carnage have prompted me to produce “AJ Crash of the Day” videos where every three or four days I will release one wreck from Air Jordan. Only on UNOFFICIAL WHISTLER.
To give you a hint the first wreck is the worst crash that I have ever seen on AJ, hands down… Happy Birthday dude!
