Volcom has been making some great outerwear for many years and the 2011 Bjorn 3-Layer Jacket is no different. In 2011, this jacket features 15,000mm of waterproofing and 15,000gm of breath-ability. It also features the V-Science 3-layer shell and breathable lining system which really helps keep you dry on the inside. To add to the waterproofing, each seam is fully taped which prevents any moisture from coming through the seams. But the best feature of the jacket is the Zip Tech pant-to-jacket interface. Rather then having a plain old powder skirt, this one actually zips into any Volcom pant. It’s a life saver for those backcountry booters and deep powder days. The only downside is that you need Volcom pants, so why not rock the Bjorn 3-Layer Pant! Both the jacket and pant have been great in all conditions. Plenty of pockets and ventilation. The jacket comes in 3 “steezy” colors and retails for $300 bucks. You can buy it from Volcom.com or from your local shop!
