The Sunset Grille and Tap Room is one of the best apres ski spots in Stowe. If you like selecting from a ton of local, domestic and imported beer, you’ll love this spot. Not only do they have a huge selection of drinks, but their food is killer too. One of my favorites is the French Onion soup. Mmmm… so good! They’ve got a ton of “pub fare” food to munch on in the bar and some other special dishes for the dining room. The Sunset Grille is also known for it’s BBQ dishes! The BBQ Combo platter is great for 2 people! Beyond the food and drink, Sunset Grille is definitely the spot to watch your favorite sports team on one of their many HD TV’s. The service is great and you’ll find some friendly staff always willing to chat. There is a ton of parking in their lot, so that is never an issue, even when it is packed. The only thing about the Sunset Grille is if you’re not looking for it, you’ll probably drive right by. It’s not located right on the Mountain Road, but only about 15 seconds off of it on Cottage Club Drive. Coming back from the mountain towards town, you’ll want to bang a left right after Darkside Snowboards. They are open 7 days a week from 11:30am to 2am. Check out the Sunset Grille & Tap Room next time you’re up at Stowe!
