Jackson Hole Airport- Local Review

If you’ve ever flown in to or out of an airport in a resort town, you know it can be no fun. Usually, it’s expensive, unreliable, and the flights can be nothing short of gut wrenching on the turbo-prop planes. The Jackson Hole Airport, however, could be an exception to this standard. You’d be shocked (in a good way) by how cheap it can be to fly in and out of Jackson. I often search for flights out of Salt Lake, only to find a minor difference in prices.

Although the Jackson Hole Airport is subject to weather delays, the pilots do like to push it a bit. Obviously they’re not going to land in a blizzard, but I think that they have a little more balls than other pilots.

Lastly, Jackson Hole Airport isn’t a resort airport that’s only serviced by one or two cities. With direct flights from places like Chicago, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and Denver- it makes it a little easier to get from point A to point B. So don’t get sucked in to thinking that just because Jackson Hole Airport is small, it’s anything like other small airports you’ve been to.
