Yes, it is true.  Squaw was ridiculous today.  Both in that it had the best snow I’ve ever skied (3 feet of blower powder that had been pressed by the wind into perfection) and that it had the most atrocious lift lines I’ve ever seen.  Did they balance each other out?  Maybe.  My first run had me so fired up.  That fire was quickly extinguished when I got into a 1 hour long KT line.  I battled the relentless Squaw army today from 9am to 2pm and got only 5 runs.  And one of those was the Mountain Run.

But, Tahoe needed this.  Local business made good money, Squaw made money, and millions of people had at least one run that they’ll never forget today.  So, overall, I’ll give today the A-OK.

Silverado tomorrow and it’s gonna be a sh$t show!  But, once again, it’ll be worth it.
