Anon Hawkeye Goggle

The Anon Hawkeye is another goggle worth checking out.  The Hawkeye is a medium to large fit and has a spherical lens.  The lens has the highest quality of optical clarity along with giving you better horizontal, upward and downward field of vision.  Overall, you can see better and more then your regular goggle.  The straps are interchangeable among all of the Anon goggles, so you can swap out your straps with previous goggles and/or trade with some buddies to keep your kit fresh.  The one thing that I really like about this goggle is the fit.  It is very low-profile on your face.  Unlike other spherical goggles that are bulky and huge (Electric EG2), the Hawkeye really fits well while giving you some great peripheral vision.  The other awesome part of this goggle is the wide variety of lenses you can get for it.  For the most part, here in VT and at Stowe, the best lens I found is the Blue Lagoon.  It’s a low light lens that allows 67% VLT (Visible Light Transmission), so it’s great on those gray-bird days, but still works very well on the partly cloudy and bluebird days.  Sometimes low-light lenses seem to burn out your retinas when it get sunny, but the Blue Lagoon wasn’t that bad.  The Hawkeye fits really well with most helmets.  The goggle features a hinged strap so it wraps well around the helmet and doesn’t get “flat” on your face.  I would highly recommend this goggle if you are looking to upgrade or move to a spherical lens!  The Hawkeye retails for $99.99 and up, depending on the lens and frame color.  Grab a pair.. you won’t be disappointed!
