Day 3 of the Ski Salt Lake Shootout for “Steam Train” (team strain) was a long one. After day 2 (and  14 hours of skiing) the team got up once again at 5am and did another dawn mission. The day was filled by touring around the Brighton backcountry, but Pow shots and great big mtn. photos were a-plenty. After the long day of touring the team found themselves in downtown Salt lake City shooting the mountain/city category of the competition. Up again tomorrow at 4am, OH BOY

Similar to the Deep Winter Photo Challenge that was held in Whistler, BC three weeks ago, Unofficial Networks is following Photographer Andrew Strain and his Steam Train around for the four days of the Salt Lake Shootout. The Ski Salt Lake Shootout -Day 3 video shows the Steam Train’s second day of the competition…shooting at Brighton.
