Last weekend the snow was a bit marginal, relative to every other weekend this year, and every other weekend this year was, well, awesome. This weekend, snow-wise, is kinda on the fence. Sure, there’s good pow out there- if you’re willing to work for it. But, hey, you work all week and you shouldn’t have to work for anything on the weekends. On the other hand, you can make-up a party, but you can’t make-up for a good day on the hill. So it’s you’re call. One thing’s for sure, this weekend will separate those who like their gnar off the hill, from those who like their gnar on it.

Friday February 11th- Sunday February 13th: Burton Demo Tour. Check out the latest goods from the king of boards- Burton. Conveniently located at the base in the big-ass red tents, it’s pretty hard to miss. Plus, awesome people run the demo tour like my buddy TJ. Tell him I sent you and he’ll take good care of you.

Last Friday at the White Buffalo

Friday February 11th: DJs Richie Beats, Cut la Whut and Guests, White Buffalo Club, 10PM. I’ve heard sh#% gets super weird here and drinks are really expensive, so obviously it’s an awesome time. Hell, if one of Jackson’s nicer private residences decides they want to turn their basement into a club, who am I to tell them not to? If you’re out at 10:30 and moderately drunk, I see no reason why not to peak your head in.

Friday February 11th: Best of Banff Mountain Film Festival, 7PM, JH Highschool Auditorium. On the more artsy/cultural side of things, the Banff Mountain Film Festival is the Sundance of outdoor films. It’s sure to take your breath away.

Saturday February 12th: Mike Thunder, Mr. Whipple and Cut la Whut, Q Roadhouse, 1oPM. Oh Snap! You missed the DJ last night at the White Buffalo. No worries, catch a similar show (and crowd) Saturday at the Q. Plus, drinks should be a little cheaper and the eats here are super good!
