Which way to go?
Which way to go?

I feel like I’m repeating myself lately, but today brought yet another awesome day at Stowe.  The weather people here in Burlington were forecasting about 3-6 inches for Northern Vermont overnight on Monday.  When I got to the hill, it seemed like they were correct for once.  Once I took my first run, I was pleasantly surprised to find more then 6 inches in the woods.  It was pretty windy today which helped blow more snow into the woods then on the trails, but everything was good!  With the wind, most chairs were running a bit slower then normal.  That didn’t matter though because it felt like there were about 50 people on the entire mountain.  No lines + powder = AWESOME!  You gotta love it when you’re still getting completely fresh lines at 2pm on stuff that is normally beat by 9am.  I was shocked that more people didn’t show up today, but hey, I’ll take it!  When I left, it was still snowing and blowing hard which will make tomorrow yet another great day at the rock!
