November hit and I was on a mission for the perfect powder ski! After reading multiple reviews and demoing some different options, I was disappointed that I could not find the right ski for my first season out west! That was until my husband suggested I try the Rossignol S110’s, the ladies version of the S7. I immediately fell in love with these skis! I demoed them on a day with very little fresh snow and I couldn’t believe how well they handled on the groomers. I thought if they felt this stable and consistent on conditions that they are not traditionally built for, then they will probably be amazing on a powder day. November hit and I was on a mission for the perfect powder ski! After reading multiple reviews and demoing some different options, I was disappointed that I could not find the right ski for my first season out west! That was until my husband suggested I try the Rossignol S110W, the ladies version of the S7. I immediately fell in love with these skis! I demoed them on a day with very little fresh snow and I couldn’t believe how well they handled on the groomers. I thought if they felt this stable and consistent on conditions that they are not traditionally built for, then they will probably be amazing on a powder day.

After I made my decision that I had to have them, they were hard to find. These skis are so popular this season that they require some effort tracking down. After my husband finally found them and gave them to me as an early Christmas present, I headed out on one of the few powder days in December. What a treat! This ski has a unique rockered design similar to the S7 called AmpTek which, “features traditional camber with more progressive “rocker” at the tip and tail” creating versatility that allows the skier to make turns more easily, float through the snow and ski smoothly and with confidence and ease in all conditions. Not only is this ski super fun and durable, the graphic design on the top sheet is creative and pretty to look at like most of the S series graphics. These Rossi’s retail for around $800 and come in a 159cm, 168cm and 178cm with the dimensions 140-110-118. Check them out at www.Rossignol.com.

The snow was absolutely dumping out of the sky. You know when it snows so hard that it’s kind of a nuisance? I mean I love powder skiing as (…)
