Wow! After a month of being sick, and riding in beat ass boots all season things all came together for me today. I know you don’t care about all that but I just had to say it. Anyway, Wow! Skiing today was super fun. The sun was in and out and temps were just about right. The lift lines lines….well, the tram line was a sucky 2 tram wait most of the day so we stuck to the chairs mostly.

Riding in Mineral was actually really rad, and the jib line is shaping up nicely. There was great snow in the Cirque and off the backside of the traverse. Baldy was kinda scrappy with pockets of good snow and some hard stuff mixed in. I would recommend doing the Mid-Baldy traverse until we pick up some new snow.

What really made the day great was the fact that the Junior Freeride Team from Sugar Bowl, CA was here for the day. The guys were super good skiers and I had tons of fun showing them around my favorite place in the whole world. Thanks to my good buddy Trevor Tanhoff, their coach, for bringing them to town for some fun and soft snow. I am looking forward to the Junior Comp this year at Snowbird in April. I suggest coming to watch.
