The week ahead is a biggie with Christmas on Saturday and New Years right around the corner. There are big crowds around for the holidays and some fun events this week. Here are a few top picks, definitely some quality shows this week.

Friday, Dec. 24 – Vinyl Meningitis @ The Llama. FREE! 10pm. You can’t beat free music on Christmas Eve! LlamaTelluride.com

Saturday, Dec. 25 – The Great Funktier @ The Llama. $5 @ 10pm. Funk on Christmas Day, could be fun for the family visiting for the holidays! LlamaTelluride.com

Monday, Dec. 27 – An Acoustic Evening with Shawn Colvin & John Oates. This is a pretty funny duo performing at the Sheridan Opera House. Might be worth the price of admission, not sure yet. Thursday, Dec. 30 – Matchstick Productions “The Way I See It” & Silent Auction. Fundraiser at the Palm Theater for the Telluride Ski & Snowboard Club with screenings at 7 & 9pm.
