Even though the seven inches we got overnight was unnecessary, it was still greatly appreciated! When it comes to snow, you can never have enough. Although, there was some sort of funky rhime layer on top. It’s a weird, 1/8 or 1/4 thick crust that’s breakable. The crust doesn’t really hold you up, but it’s definitely noticeable. Will also be interesting how new snow bonds to it during the storms foretasted for next week. Today, temps should be slightly inverted so I’d stay up high. However, be careful on south facing slopes as they were heating up early yesterday. Thanks to Tanner and Eric for the vid of pillow lines in Granite!
