Well, today ended up being a pretty short day out there on the hill. The holiday crowds have definitely arrived with some serious lift lines out there today. My first ride up 4 this morning was probably the longest line I have seen at Telluride this season, with some back-ups at 5 and 12 as well. Nothing to serious yet, but you can tell the crowds are getting worse each day. Lots of Texans out there!

The snow was pretty decent today with some nice groomers, a few inches of the soft stuff around, and some more terrain opening. But man was it crazy out there in spots. Skiing from 4 to 5 this morning was a sh*t show and straight up dangerous!

After making my way up to Prospect, I had a sweet first run in La Rosa with some impressive snow and not much traffic. For my second run, I hiked up to the top of Genevieve and was pretty excited with how the snow looked. After dropping in, I had some sweet turns before I got tripped up by a rock and took a decent tumble over some other rocks! Not much fun at all. Jacking up my knee pretty good, I decided to call it a day and make my way down to the Hopgarden. Nothing some beers can’t cure!
