Andy Wirth of Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. will become the resort's new chief executive officer. He will be responsible for all aspects of resort operations and will report directly to its board of directors.
Cushing took over from her husband Alex Cushing, co-founder of Squaw Valley, when he died at 92 in 2007. She served as president of the Squaw Valley Ski Corporation since 1994, according to www.squaw.com.
