UnofficialSquaw's Arne Backstrom has won the coveted McConkey Cup, winning the overall Freeskiing World Tour. Arne skied four of the six stops of the 2009/2010 season, winning in Revelstoke, taking 4th in Kirkwood, 13th in Crested Butte, and finishing 8th in Snowbird. He was battling Griffin Post all season for the overall and pulled off the win by 1 point after the World Finals in Snowbird. Arne Backstrom is the brother of Ingrid and Ralph Backstrom and resides here in Squaw Valley.
