Arrived in Snowbird a few days ago for the Freeskiing World Tour's final stop. There's been some recent snow, but a few days of California warm weather baked all but the steep north facing stuff. Luckily the main venues are north, so I'm thinking conditions should be quite adequate for a good competition. The North Baldy finals venue rewards fast smooth skiing and airs, so its a great one for the final comp of the year, and should bring out some impressive skiing.
The weather report is calling for snow friday during day 1, but sun on the weekend will be great for the finals.
