On January 9, 2010 a contingent of the Unofficial Squaw crew headed to Russia for the first stop of the World Freeride Tour. After two weeks in Russia there had only been one and a half days of sun during which the avalanche dangers was super high. This kept the skiing to only low angle trees. Seeing that the weather was not going to chenge for the better the event organizers pulled the plug and push the comp back to next week in Chamonix, France. Here are some Unofficial photos of the very frustrating but fun trip to Russia.
