Got in at about 3:30 yesterday morning after driving in shifts for about 22 hours with Allie, Arne, and Scott. Super impressed with Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Just two high-speed lifts and a gondola access a huge amount of terrain of all aspects, and about 6,500 vertical feet.
It hadn’t snowed for over a week when we showed up, but with low temps and minimal traffic there was stil plenty of good snow to be had.
While my own competition was unimpressive at best, the good snow, great terrain, and watching Arne crush the finals venue for the win, made it an awsome trip.
Then it started raining, so we headed back to Tahoe for some fresh pow California style. Good timing.
