Kick Ass Blaster Arne Backstrom has just won the Canadian Freeskiing Championship in Revelstoke, BC Canada. After a weather day on Saturday and a long wait all morning today, Arne charged the heli accessed venue, ‘Mackenzie Face’ harder and faster than anyone else. When we asked Arne about his line he commented that the snow was really sugary up top which lead to him gaining momentum from his landings instead of airing and slowing down in soft snow. A little different than what he expected but obviously it worked out well for him. Congratulations Arne!
