Pray for Snow Party! Where: Hacienda 931 Tahoe Blvd, Incline Village When: Friday Dec. 4th – 7-12 am You gotta check this out. – I was going to write something up for this party but this event description I found at Tahoebonanza.com is just too good. The Hacienda in Incline is hosting it’s 23rd annual “Bring on the Snow Party”. The Winter season kickoff party is a local’s tradition full of merriment and good cheer! Live music and dancing with the Blues Monsters and a Diamond Peak Season Pass giveaway are sure to please the “Snow Gods”. Also on tap are the famous Lift Op Relat Race, Frozen Wet T-Shirt Contest and great raffle prizes all night long! Brought to you by The Village Ski Loft, Diamond Peak and Northstar at Tahoe. Retro Party Where: Sandy’s Pub, Squaw Creek When: Saturday Dec. 5th @ 10 pm Cost: Only $3 for the skis bums We threw this flashy poster up earlier this week so the fact that we are posting it twice means it’s hot stuff. – This saturday is the 2nd Annual Retro ski and snowboard theme party. – It was a hit last year with some awesome one pieces and retro dancing. – Hit up the thrift shops if you haven’t already and we will see you there. Alpine Meadows Opens! When: Saturday Dec. 5 @ 9 am Where: The Meadows Cost: Early season tickets not listed Also happening on Saturday is Alpine Meadows Ski Resort’s Opening day. – There may not be base jumping and free champagne but hey, its something different than searchlight and red dog. Roundhouse and Meadow chairs running so should be fun. – They say weather permitting so hopefully they don’t cancel.
