Tim Konrad on board the Clipper Adventurer It is our second- full day on board the Clipper Adventurer and all and all it has been fairly smooth sailing since we left Ushuaia, Argentina. At around 11 pm last night we crossed over the Antarctic Convergence which means we are now in Antarctic waters. There has only been one other ship down to this region of Antarctica so far this season and they have reported new ice just below the South Shetland Islands. If this report proves to be correct it could mean problems for getting in close to the shore as we move farther south into new waters. Outside of that everything is going great and we are primed and ready to roll.
