The new Agent is purple to begin with so hopefully you like the trend of 80’s colors these days. Personally, I chose the boot because I am a 25.5. I have been in a Lange for as long as I can remember and chose the Agent this year because it runs shorter than the Lange 25.5 and matches my foot length better. When I first got the boot my first impression was that as a 130 flex it was much softer than the Lange 130. Then I realized the cuff height was shorter as well. Both not necessarily negatives, just different. The buckles are super lightweight and still solid enough that I think it will be tough to break.

As far as comfort goes I have the boot completely custom fit by Surefoot so I’m not sure how the stock liner feels, but I can definitely recommend the Surefoot custom liner. The only negative I have to say about the boot is that the plastic on top of the foot is soft and sometimes fills with snow if your buckles are undone. Not a performance problem but can be annoying at times when hiking the pow. I don’t know exactly the weight of the boot but it is definitely much lighter than my old Lange set up which is nice. Overall, the purple Agent with flashy green buckles performs well and is pretty steezy too. I recommend it. -Mattias
