With Memorial Day comes the start of the summer season and this weekend is surely shaping up to be a good start.- Today is Opening Day at The Lake, the start of Memorial Day celebration and the summer season at Lake Tahoe.- This weekend’s festivities are held by West Shore Association and they tell us: 22 – Opening Day at the Lake – Memorial Day Weekend, May 22, 23, 24,& 25, 2009 Snowmelt feeds the streams, the trails are clear and spring fever is upon us. Join the West Shore Association for the third annual Opening Day at the Lake. It is a weekend of frolic and fun, kayaking, biking, hiking, restaurant deck opening parties, Big Band dance parties, bike-a-thons, community picnics, homeowners reconnecting, State Park Tours, Chris-Craft Boat show, with a Seaplane – Fly-By Finale on Monday all on the Fabulous West Shore. Visit participating West Shore businesses, while you play, get your passport stamped for a bit of instant gratification. Stamp a few more and be eligible to win fantastic prizes!
