Another perfect spring-like day here in Squaw Valley with temps approaching 70.- Crowds should be down compared to yesterday but expect the usual weekend warriors trying to get their last days in before the close of the season. Yesterdays Earth Day Festival was a lot of fun.- Highlights included the Truckee Tribe jamming in the village and, for me anyway, the free energy saver/coil light bulb giveaway – those things are expensive!- I ended up getting seven so I fully expect my power bill and carbon footprint to be cut in half starting today. Season passholders don’t forget that the annual passholders party is going on today at High Camp starting at noon.- Everyone is invited to attend, ie mid-week passes will get you up today so get out there and take advantage.
