Now is our t A fund has been set up to benefit the victims and families connected to Saturday’s crash of a resort shuttle bus that overturned on Interstate 80 west of Reno, killing one passenger and injuring 24. Marc Sapoznik, spokesman for the Resort at Squaw Creek, said the account was set up at the U.S. Bank in Truckee after employees and guests asked how they could help. He said the resort has made employee counseling available and managers continue to visit the workers involved in the crash at their homes and in area hospitals. Ten of the bus occupants, including the driver, remained in hospitals in Reno and Truckee Monday: six at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, including three listed in fair condition and three in the intensive care ward; two patients listed in fair condition at Renown South Meadows; one in fair condition at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center; and one in fair condition at Tahoe Forest Hospital. rgj.com
