Here is a weekend outlook from the Weather Geek FRIDAY MARCH 27 4:12 AM!..A mild spring day is in store for much of the Sierra and Tahoe as a low pressure system that brought cooler temperatures and high winds to the area has moved east and into the Rocky Mountains. Temperatures should be a few degrees warmer today and Saturday before plunging again on Sunday as another Gulf of Alaska storm skirts the area while moving into the Great Basin. A ridge of high pressure off the coast of California continues to block any Pacific storms from reaching us from the west.
