I think everyone was surprised by how good the skiing was today. Granite held the deepest snow on the hill with some pockets nearly a foot and a half deep . The snow came in much lighter then what we have been getting for the pass few days. Sun Bowl had some good snow in it but was skied out by the end of the day. Broken Arrow also opened today and the skiing was great. Getting out was a little bony but up top was choice.
It would be nice to see a Solitude opening tomorrow but I don’t think that is going to happen.
Update 4:30p.m.: The skiing was great today! There was over a foot of fresh light snow off Granite. Headwall and C2 were also skiing well. The snow is still falling hard all the way to the valley floor.
Update 11:00 a.m.:- There is about 4 in. down low. Snowing hard. Deep powder skiing off Granite. Control work was almost done by opening. Good skiing all over but light is very flat. Most lifts are running.

The line up at Granite at around 11:00a.m.

Tram Rock: 8:45 a.m.
