Kulm Hotel St. Moritz – Switzerland
St. Moritz became a popular winter destination in 1864 when Kulm Hotel owner, Johannes Badrutt, made a bet with summer guests that December weather would be so good they could sun on the hotel’s terrace; if not, he would cover the cost of their vacation. He won. So if you’re ski bum identity isn’t discovered after a dip in the pool, venture onto the deck for some tanning action and celebrity mingling.

Wish one of them was in Vermont – we lack hot water in winter. Out west there are tons of hot springs. I don’t know of one in New England. Any advice? Happy soaking.

Ive been to one in Bormio,Italy and it was pretty sweet. But I just came from soaking at boiling river on my way back from Cooke city and that was the best after ski soak I can remember.
