Hoping to see this again

This storm is REAL Lake Tahoe humans.  This is not a drill.  You are going to ski powder.  We know you’re all a bit jaded from the dismal nature of the winter so far, but this one looks like it’s worth getting out there for.  If all goes well, this could be a jumpstart to the Miracle March that just may keep us all from going completely insane.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Lake Tahoe.  It’s in effect from 1am Wednesday until 7pm Wednesday.

WINTER STORM WARNING for TAHOE:

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM
TO 7 PM PST WEDNESDAY.
* TIMING: LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW SHOWERS WILL DIMINISH TONIGHT.
THE SECOND STORM WILL WILL REACH THE TAHOE BASIN TUESDAY NIGHT
WITH HEAVY SNOW AT TIMES THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING.

* WEDNESDAY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 10 TO 20 INCHES OF SNOW ABOVE
7000 FEET WITH 5 TO 10 INCHES BELOW 7000 FEET. THE HIGHEST
SNOW AMOUNTS WILL BE ALONG AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 89.

This could be the start of a big change in Tahoe.

Sorry, this won’t be enough to salvage this terrible season. It needs to snow at least 20 FEET to make up for what so far, has been the worst season since forever.

Super stoked for any snow, but would be even better if we could get some sierra cement to bond with the concrete layer, paste the takeoffs and landings and allow us to pin it everywhere. Instead I am getting faceshots and rattling the fillings out of my teeth at the same time, leaving me somewhere between being stoked and taking a beating.

Tracking out & packing down that light stuff is the best thing we could do for it to prep it for the upcoming snow.

Gotta pack down what we got. Believe me, there will be enough snow by the end of this. Just not sure it will be snow that will last…
