I think the greater majority would love to see some creative/unique/new content delivered via these weekly newsletters. An example is up close interviews. Surfering Magazine has great blog interviews: influencING, You are here, and Out of the office. These are great blogs to start with. Id love to hear Poulsens story or a guy like Aaron McGovern. Bring back some Fun Jumpers, finish skiing the 7 continents, talk about fallen locals: Benny, Kip, Allison. Stories about McConkey from some of his closest peers. I don’t know if you have the means to support this but I would pay $20 a year for content online as if it was a magazine. Heckler is building an online POV of West Coast Skateparks maybe take the idea to skiing and mix it with Squallywood and make a interactive guide with locals showing the real squallywood, talking about lines and how they were named or pioneered. People eat the up close are personal shit up, thats why people love G.N.A.R. besides for McConkey. Hell learning about what drove Konrad to California or why Miles is still skiing. People love reading about content they can relate to. Real skiers, real people. Unofficial isn’t the ski industry, you guys don’t make world class ski movies or sell product but you can fill the GAP (which is an opportunity) by bringing industry leaders down to us.
