The battle to be the first ski area in the U.S. to open for skiing and snowboarding has been won! Wild Mountain in northern Minnesota opened it’s doors to the public yesterday for the first day of the 2012 -2013 ski season. For $18 you can ride Wild Mountain’s rope tow and shred their two runs covered in a “White Ribbon of Death.” Wild aslo had a small park build with a few features. Check out these video and photos from Opening Day at the first ski resort open in the U.S.
