People don’t miss home here.  They don’t talk about home.

It snows everyday here and that’s enough to keep people from even thinking about home.

It wasn’t suppose to snow last night, so of course, it did.  In fact, it hasn’t been forecasted to snow at all this week and it’s been nothing but snow.

The South Shore of Happo-One ski resort

A foot plus of clean, dry powder made the South Shore of Happo-One a playground today.  That good snow combined with sun and no wind made for a special combination that doesn’t come around often in this zone in January.

The South Shore of Happo-One today

Yep, you should come to Japan and ski as soon as you can.  It’s assuredly a snow phenomenon that you won’t dislike.

So, what would it be like to live in a ski movie?  The answer would be different for everyone except for one factor.  There’d be powder everyday and that’s just what you get here in Japan in January.

Creek crossing are always interesting here

If you go for a little walk there is. For some reason they don’t seem to put lifts to the best spots. Being the Japanese I am sure there is some technical reason for this that we are ignorant of

Asia is the largest buyer of Ivory for religous purposes. Money that is brought to Japan by winter tourism may be used for the these religous pieces made of ivory which are collected from national parks by poachers who kill entire herds and leave the bodys to pile up. Not to menton all the shark finning that happens to supply their obsession with a delicasy of shark fin soup
our oceans are being raped of its predators (sharks) this will unbalance the ocean eco system If it continues

Sometimes at night I sit and imagine that I’m in a ski porno movie and I’m Jon Holmes. My rod is a oiled up and I stroke it just like I’m doing a pole plant. I enjoy it hard and fast. Now if I only could make it happen in real life.
