After the relentless snow in Telluride this past week, today was beautiful and Brian and I set out to attempt to earn our first turns of the season. Heading for the hills, we were pleasantly surprised with decent coverage and some skiable terrain. MAJOR props to whoever beat us up there and laid down some sweet turns before us.

We skied a fun line with no core-shots to be reported and Brian even dropped a nice rock to take home honors of first Unofficial-huck of the year! It was a nice surprise to be able to get some turns in so early and definitely the first time either of us had ever skied in September! Hopefully today won’t be the last…
