Lot’s of Double Corks, rail slaying and downright terrain park domination in this 3 minute clip…Gus is really making a name for himself shreding so hard!
The following link is a post from last March featuring a Goodie Pocket edit of Gus killing Telluride’s park titled ‘Puppies!’
Today was an amazing, surprise powder day in Telluride with periods of blue skies in the morning and dumping snow in the afternoon.
After 1-5″ of new snow was forecast from this storm, more than a foot of fresh snow ended up falling on the mountain turning into one of the best days of the season! This afternoon was DEEP!
With Telluride’s base depth approaching 60 inches and recent storms coming in with no wind, the resort is skiing awesome right now with great coverage on the Gold Hill ridge and chutes and up the Palmyra ridgeline. Huge props to Patrol who have done an amazing job recently getting more and more terrain open and skiing safe.
We are currently in a great weather cycle and hopefully these storms keep rolling through the area. The San Juans are going off right now…
This week a group of us went snowmobiling outside Telluride with our buddy Steve Brown from Dave’s Mountain Tours. We headed up to Woods Lake and the Beaver Park area near Wilson Mesa on a beautiful afternoon and had a blast!
With all our recent snow, the trails and sledding zones in the area are in awesome shape with lots of deep pow out there. Our crew learned first hand just how deep it was, getting the sleds stuck multiple times and having to dig them out. We had a super fun day out there with plenty of laughs, adrenaline, and good times all around…
Telluride is an amazing place to get out on snowmobiles and see just how beautiful this area is. Thanks again to Steve and the guys at Dave’s Mountain Tours for an awesome afternoon sledding!
This years Winter X Games are kicking off tomorrow up in Aspen, Colorado with the Ski Slopestyle comp. Last night was the first practice session on the course under the lights and Telluride local Gus Kenworthy dropped this video this morning previewing the course. It looks like a pretty bad ass park with some interesting features and massive jumps…were hoping Gus can bring the Gold back to T-Ride!
Tune in to ESPN @ 9:45pm Eastern/7:45pm Mountain to check out the Finals…
The last few days skiing in Telluride were some of the best in years! Over 2 Feet of new snow fell on the mountain with pockets of blown snow and drifts in places twice as deep. The powder panic was at an all time high on Sunday morning with massive lines early and no significant lifts turning until around 10am. When the ropes finally dropped, it was on and people were getting after it in a big way!
Casey Riva was hucking off everything and anything including stomping the s#*t out of Awesome Rock…very awesome performance in deed! Nice work out there Casey.
With the HIGH avy danger and amount of new snow, Lifts 12, 14, and 15 didn’t open until Monday morning allowing for us to do it all again yesterday. And to top it off…it’s still dumping in town as I write this. Bring it on!
After weeks of no snow, unseasonably warm temps, and bullet-proof conditions…Telluride finally got dumped on! The last two days have been the best ski days in some time and morale is definitely up in the canyon. The forecast is helping as well with additional snow-fall leading us into the weekend…let’s hope winter sticks around for a while!
With not a flake of new snow and nothing but sunshine for over two weeks in Telluride, our outlook is finally looking white with a weekend forecast of 4-8″ @ … Read More
Telluride once again held the only United States stop for the Wold Cup earlier in December, but for the first time with a local Telluride shreder. After a week of tryouts held before the race, Hagen Kearney came out on top with a coaches discretion race start after proving himself by consistently slaying the training, even topping the U.S. team riders on occasion. Little brother Harry Kearney got in to run the course as well, and threw together this little edit for Unofficial Telluride.

Lindsey Vonn appeared on Dave Letterman last night, showing up looking hot in a ‘leggy’ red dress and pretty much explaining how rad she is. Pretty soft interview really, no discussion of her recent divorce, Tebow, or even the nerd who swept her off her feet at his prom. LV needs to get on Howard Stern…
Love the part where Dave is trying to make sense of all the different race events and pretty much ripping on the slalom, “who cares about the regular slalom, medium slalom, and extra spicy slalom…what’s the deal there?” Funny stuff.
What's the deal with this Slalom bulls#*t?
What I can’t believe is how much bigger she is than Dave, chick is a beast! Now I see why she is so much faster than all the other racer chicks out there…
