Hot on the heels of our Unofficial Beer post from last week, WEEN has announced that they will play a 3 night run at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium, December 29th, 30th, and 31st for New Year’s. This comes as exciting news for any fans of the Boognish and should make for the brownest, most booze-fueled NYE that Denver has seen in some time.

The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series made a rare US stop this past weekend in Boston. The best cliff divers in the world jumped and flipped 90 feet off the ICA, a contemporary art museum cantilevered over Boston Harbor. I have always been amazed by these cliff diving events and to have one in such a cool, urban setting is brilliant. Hats off to Red Bull for having the vision to come up these cool events.

The 2nd stop of the Freesking World Tour wrapped up over the weekend at Ski Arpa, Chile. The snow was thin with bony, rocky conditions causing the organizers to shuffle venues and use the Day 1 venue for the Finals. Mad River’s Lars Chickering-Ayers came out on top with a fast, high consequence run through some sketchy shit!
