World’s Largest, Most Powerful Trampoline | Huge Double Corks, Triple Corks All Day Long

September 3rd, 2012 by

If these guys have been doing this all summer long, then what’s in store for us this season?  It’s gonna be insane.  It looks like these guys can do double and triple corks all day long.  The level of acrobatics in skiing and riding right now is out of hand and I love it.

Athletes in this video:  Seb Toots, Maxence Parrot, & Antoine Truchon.

Insane Tramp Skating | Scott Stevens

June 17th, 2012 by

Remember when you used to jump on your trampoline with a skateboard as a kid and land all the tricks you dreamed about doing on a normal skateboard?

Maybe you still do that, Scott Stevens does and he’s taking tramp skating to a whole new level now that winter is over. Most of the tricks in this edit are way to complicated to even name so I won’t try.

Expect to get your mind blown, I did and I’m all amped up to get back on a tramp board to try and nail the snot out of a couple 720 double flipping big spin late melon grabs.

Pass it on.

Ready to Laugh? | Bear Shot Out of Tree to Trampoline to FACE, Then Carried Like 6-Pack

Yeah, we know you’ve already seen this.  But, it’s priceless, so watch it again.

This bear gets shot by a tranquilizer gun, falls out of a tree, bounces off a trampoline, and lands squarely on his face.

He’s a bear, so he was fine, so you can laugh.

Happy Friday.

Water Ramp & Trampoline Training in Utah | The BASICS

October 5th, 2011 by

The goal of The BASICS program is to not only reach the kids that we teach sporting fundamentals, but to show by example the training and prerequisites that go into the rad feats of athleticism that we all watch in action sports movies and on the internet.  People need to know that Shane McConkey did hundreds of skydives before his first base jump, that X-games champions train single backflips into water in the summer time and that Five Ten’s elite team of climbers all started on some rope on some humble wall somewhere with a whole bunch of dedication, passion and patience. The action sports world has enough risk in it even when prepared.  We have to use our heads and avoid the avoidable risks.

Our first camp took us to the Utah Olympic Park where we were hosted by Axis Freeride.  We had a ton of fun.  Trampolines with pads everywhere, aerated swimming pools to land in. I did 25 backlfips into water and my next one will be off Squaw Valley’s kangaroo kicker once Siberia opens.  We stayed at Glenn McConkey’s and got to hear some stories about Shane and see some funny boyhood photos of the legend himself.  Special thanks to K2 skis, Axis Freeride, High Fives Foundation, Max Kuszaj, Rob Greener, Timy Dutton, Chris Haslock and Glenn McConkey for supporting the first BASICS camp.

Trampoline training in San Francisco, CA at the House of Air.
Boreal is looking to get approval for a 32,900 square foot indoor training center on Donner Summit.  This would be huge for Lake Tahoe skiers and riders.  Right now, the closest trampoline training to Tahoe is a gymnasium in Reno, NV.
