Mt. Hood Summer Shred VIDEO for SnowGlobe

October 15th, 2012 by

Earlier this summer Kaya Lampe from Sessions Outerwear put together a trip up to Mt Hood to film a short video with several local groms. These 4 kids represent motivation, talent, and drive.  They are also 4 really good kids that are enjoyable to be around on- and off-the-hill.

SessionsTrip 620x620

Kaya Lampe, Hunter Simpson, Rals White, Mike Jones, Charlie Ingalls heading up to Mt. Hood.

This video will be featured at SnowGlobe December 29-31 and features 2 of the artists who will be appearing. I was stoked with the summer shredding and fully expect to see big things from all 4 of these guys this winter.  The level of talent beginning to develop with the young Tahoe park skiers is already impressive. With a facility like Woodward just down the street, it’s going to skyrocket. Super-groms Cody Laplante and Aspen Spora are just a few years behind and we could see some new Tahoe Olympians in the coming years. Good luck guys and keep killin it.

I was stoked on the music and it got me excited about SnowGlobe this winter. The skiing starts at :41 seconds in.

Poor Boyz Keystone Super Ski Session | Park Shoots Coming to an End

June 5th, 2012 by

The season has finally come to an end for most of North America (despite some persistent precip in Tahoe), and we all know closed resorts equal private park shoots for the big dogs.  Here is Poor Boyz latest teaser, with a private park session that went down at Keystone the other day.  Watch as Bobby Brown, Alexi Godbout, and Joss Christensen stumbler for words, throw down buttery smooth dubs, and perform some of the sickest double screamin’ seamans the world has ever witnessed.

“The Launch”, A Forgotten Session | Superpark Standout Jaeger Bailey and More

June 4th, 2012 by

This edit dropped on the Snowboarder Magazine vimeo page a couple days ago. According to Snowboarder Magazine

Matthew Mead tagged along with Garrett Warnick and Jaeger Bailey with camera in tow as they took to Snowboarder Magazine’s The Launch at Bear Mountain, CA in early April. Loose laps, tight tranny’s, slick jibs and poppy lips all get sessions in this edit.

Sounds like a pretty typical video description, but after watching I was left wondering why the hell didn’t anyone hear about “The Launch”? From the looks of things it was probably one of the better park sessions of the year, with sick custom features and good riders. I’m surprised it that an edit didn’t drop until almost 2 months after it was over and that I somehow haven’t heard a thing about it until now.

Better late then never I guess. It’s always a pleasure to watch Jaeger ride, and the  talents of Erik Leon, Emil A. Ulsletten, Hans K. Mindnich, Nils K. Mindnich, Sam Taxwood, and Zander Blackmon are all featured as well.

But seriously, why was this session almost forgotten?

Enjoy!
