Friday was probably the best day we’ve seen yet in Tahoe this year. A couple of storm days on Wednesday and Thursday where the upper regions of the mountains were closed, followed by a bluebird day Friday morning.

Next stop Squaw Valley for the KT-22 Banzai: March 3rd-4th
Friday the 24th was CR Day. A day for anyone who was inspired by C.R. Johnson to get out and enjoy the mountains in his memory. CR’s positive energy and love of skiing continue to influence countless skiers and riders who have a passion for the snow.
At Squaw and Alpine (and mountains all over), groups of Mighty Mites and people of all ages got out and shredded around appreciating the day and everything that C.R. gave to the sport of skiing.
Here’s a video recap of the day. The little ripper in the park is 11 year old Aspen Spora, probably one of the best little park skiers in the world. He has a cork 1080 and he’s in 5th grade.
Thanks to CR and of course High Fives for celebrating the day! And thanks to Mike Weiner for putting together this edit.
Live, Learn, and move forward positively
