Spring Break Snowboards were conceived as a vacation from conventional board design where the looser the shape of the deck and more uncommon the ingredients translates to more flavor being brought to the party. Well…the cinematography was really cool, and its great to see riders who are not all hung up on trying going big or doing exciting things.
Little tiny versions of those boards would make cool earrings.
And it makes me sad because their pants are too tight and their bodies can’t move enough.
Reminds me of the very, very early Winterstick’s– I met Dimitri Milovich at Snowbird in the mid ’70s and he had these things….. surfboard inspired powder sticks……and I thought…”What? Strap your feet onto this weird plank…..nah, I’ll stick with my Bobbie Burns ‘The Ski’, Scott boots, and Burt retractable binds.”
