These things are massive wastes of energy-I’m all for people getting the right to shred who wouldn’t otherwise-but at what cost? A ski resort in the desert? Ouch.

english racers train it three times a week, gets pretty damn boring…. slalom courses are only about 12 – 13 seconds long :L

I’ve been to the first two, and even though they might be the larges and longest, nothing compares to the real deal!

Went to Ski Dubai while i had the afternoon off from work (merchant marine). They had a basic jump to the side of the lift. Did a really weak 3 (not the biggest park rat) but over there, it was received as one of the most amazing things anyone has ever seen. definitely the biggest ego boost ever.

not as good as the real thing, more just to say I skied in Dubai than anything else.

Tahoe should build one of these 90 stories tall, surrounded by glass and goes across the whole damn lake. what an eye sore, but we can get some decent lines in during summer.
