Last weekend was the end for a lot of ski resorts in North America. We lost 8 resorts but still have 9 left. We lost Kirkwood, Mt. Hood Meadows, Alpental, Steven’s Pass, White Pass, Arapahoe Basin, Marmot Basin, and Lake Louise.
This coming weekend is going to be the end for Alpine Meadows and Snowbird. And then there will only be 7. What were trying to tell you is: get out there and harvest some turns before it’s too late…
The Winners = Whistler, Mammoth, Timberline Lodge.
CALIFORNIA:
- Mammoth Mountain = Open daily thru May 31st…at least, maybe longer
- Alpine Meadows = Open this weekend only (May 11, 12, 13)
ALASKA:
- Alyeska = Open every Friday, Saturday, & Sunday in May
OREGON:
- Mt. Bachelor = Open Thursday-Sunday thru May 27th
- Timberline Lodge = Open daily until May 28th for winter/spring operations (then they are open all summer for “summer” operations)
WASHINGTON:
- Crystal Mountain = Open every weekend in May & “maybe” open weekends in June & July (May 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27, 28)
UTAH:
- Snowbird = Open daily thru May 13th
CANADIA:
- Whistler Blackcomb = Open daily thru May 28th
- Sunshine Village = Open daily thru May 21st

Mammoth is the place. The rest…meh.
Hood is also the spot.
Lake Louise in AB, Canada will be reopening this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as a Bonus Weekend because of the great spring conditions up at the hill.
Mammoth last day is may 28th, not any longer.
Really? So being open daily wins over having the most snow? I don’t think so! =P ALYESKA IS THE BEST! And our backcountry promises to not melt for a while too. So glad we moved up here from June Lake for this epic season! Sorry Wooly and Bucky. LoL
Silver Mountain Resort in Kellogg, Id will be open and free on 5/13/12. Skiing will be open an chairs 1&2. SIlvermt.com
For reals? I couldn’t find anything about tit on their website.

Whistler is fast and firm yesterday and today but will soften up nicely Fridayto Sunday..
We can still ride on lifts in France, and the terrain we can ski now is stuff that doesn’t exist in NA, well maybe you can find some big in AK, but that is like it’s own continent anyway. I can’t believe Arapahoe Basin threw in the towel.
dude u spent canada wrong
it is canadia,eh!!! in these parts anyway!!!
