There are still 6 ski resorts open in North America. It’s not over yet, folks.
But it will be completely over by Monday…mostly.
Crystal Mountain, WA is threatening to possibly continue staying open on weekends in June. But, we kinda doubt it. We’ll see…
Timberline Lodge, OR is going to be open every single day of the summer for skiing and riding until Labor Day…
CALIFORNIA:
- Mammoth Mountain = Open daily thru May 28th
ALASKA:
- Alyeska = Open every Friday, Saturday, & Sunday thru May 27th
OREGON:
- Mt. Bachelor = Open Thursday-Sunday thru May 27th
- Timberline Lodge = Open daily until May 28th for winter/spring operations (then they are open daily all summer for “summer” operations until Labor Day)
WASHINGTON:
- Crystal Mountain = Open every weekend in May & “maybe” open weekends in June & July (May 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27, 28)
CANADA:
- Whistler Blackcomb = Open daily thru May 28th

Timberline all summer baby! We don’t worry about nor think about closing dates. Boom.
Crystal was open until mid July last year. Picked up 2 more inches of snow last night with more to come this week. Party on Wayne.
Skied Crystal last weekend. Coverage is still wall-to-wall on the upper mountain. Forecast also calls for 6″ or so of fresh this week. A late-June closing wouldn’t shock me in the least.
Was up on Sunday… Crystal has enough snow to go through June, but maybe not mid-July like last year.
They run the Gondola anyways starting June 16 for summer activities. Won’t take much to spin Green Valley as well.
Heading to Blackcomb for the last few days, bring on the sun!
Alyeska is a huge fake. They’ve been open only twice in May. 2 days out of 25. Is that called resort operations?.. Worst managed place for skiing in North America.
Whatcha talking about, Willis?
Hell yeah, Crystal is open for great skiing weekends well into June. We’re hoping to make it to July 4
