This is a very un-japan-like video. Blue sky and lines that could double in a Alaska picture book are the last thing people think of when they hear Japow. But we hit the jackpot. I mean, don’t get me wrong I love skiing in powpocalypse nuclear winter, playing in the trees and popping poppers off every pillow in sight, but come one this is what we dream of, long spines with blower pow that sends coldsmoke the the moon!
And we got to shred with the kamoshika’s. Kamoshika’s are basically japanese mountain goats crossed with a pig and dog. They hang out on pillow lines and often get caught in avalanches. Anyway they’re all over the mountains of japan and are quite friendly. I saw at least one a day just chillin in the most exposed zones on the mountain. If they skied, they would win big mountain competitions.
Japan rocks. Plain and simple. But…shhhhh…don’t tell anyone…
